Newt Gingrich: The Mind of a Child

As Newt Gingrich rises in the polls, so do attacks on his political views. As attacks on Gingrich increase, Gingrich’s attacks on his attackers increase. While his slams against democrats gain him popularity within the republican party, what he fails to realize is that the country is unfortunately not inhabited entirely by republicans.

Regardless of how influential the republicans become after this election, there will still be democrats. Starting a fight with people that you will have to work with if you become president, before you even become president, is stupid. The problem the country has with politics is that the elected officials never get anything done. How Gingrich plans to get things done by calling his fellow politicians names is beyond me.

In fact, it shows just how underdeveloped his mind is. His actions and reactions including pointing fingers and name calling, are in line with that of a child. A fundamental difference between us and animals is the ability to communicate and work together. Gingrich on the other hand is taking this in the entirely opposite direction. Imagine a child running for president. This shouldn’t be hard considering that Gingrich looks like a baby as well as just acting like one.

What has Gingrich offered up this election season other than negative opinions of his opposition? Oh, that’s right, he’s taking the points of his competitors that people like and claiming that as his own. End the Fed sound familiar? Instead of trying to steal your platform from someone else, just endorse that candidate. You’re doing nothing but increasing the chances of no republican taking office come this time next year. So who’s side are you really on Newt? If you were a republican you would get out of the way, not bring the whole party down with you.
